Dom Kennedy: From the Westside With Love

Weird & simple. The first thing I thought when the beat came on. But if it’s like that, then for me, it’s good. Listening to the tape, he has an excellent ear for beats, which is definently going to serve him in the long run. When you first listen to the intro, I was looking at my dude like what the fuck you got me listening to? He keep saying the same shit. But at the end of the track, I was fucking with it, so I was bitching for nothing. Lol. Then the level rises another notch with the song, “Still Me.” This is mixtape could be an album. Which is why we have to get the game back to where it should be. Not about hit singles, but about artists who can make timeless. Long-term shit, not after Jordan. Not bullshit. Dom Kennedy is just that. Long-term shit.

Tracks to look out for:
2) Still Me
7) Locals Only
9) Play On feat. Skeme
10) The Hotels feat. Carter
14) Speaker Phone
