Laws: 5:01: Overtime
One day, my homeboy, Tristen (Yung Yella…for now), was like you got that new Laws. I’m like, who the fuck is Laws? He has a good ear for good music, not wack shit, so I was like fuck it. So here I am listening to 5:01: Overtime right now this second while I type this up. But before all this, I did some research on dude. Laws is signed to J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. If you have heard the last couple Rick Ross albums, their part of the reason why Ross is where he’s at, and that’s definitely a good look for a rookie. Listening to Laws, he sounds like a young Eminem without the insanity. He has a single out for this ‘tape called Hold You Down feat. Emilio Rojas & BigK.R.I.T. If he continues with this momentum that he has built for himself, he’s going to be a top rookie. Watch out for the dude Laws.
