Straight from the Puerto Rican line of Big Pun, Emilio Rojas is a straight New York spitter. Comes out the gate introducing himself and giving you a history lesson of him. For the first couple of songs, you can hear the pain in his voice and that’s something I can really appreciate. Just listening to dude, you can tell that hip hop is something he was born to do and that it’s “natural” to him. His flow more than confident, it’s cocky & arrogant, but fuck it…I like it. Give Rojas a year or more and he should be the leader of New York rookies and should be looked at as top rookie overall.
Tracks to look out for:
1) The Countdown
4) Sympathy For the Devil
9) Runway
11) The Rest
